MODELING CLASSES | Runway to Camera
The Acting Out Modeling program is a series of classes that are designed to give the students a strong foundation in modeling techniques, industry knowledge, and the ability to perform comfortably on the runway and in-front of the camera. The inspiration behind the Acting Out Modeling curriculum comes from a collection of knowledge from the industry’s leading agencies, photographers, working models, booking agents, and managers. We have combined this information with additional exercises, mock auditions, and photo shoot situations to create this curriculum. This class ends with an AOS Fashion Show.
Ages: 5-8 / 9-12/ Teen
(1 hr weekly classes)
About the Instructor | Elisabeth Guptill
Elisabeth loves all things preforming! She began her career modeling locally in Charlotte, and soon after started acting. Two years into her career, she moved to New York City. She was featured in a photoshoot in The New Yorker Magazine, and worked for multiple designers in New York Fashion Week. She also was in several short films, commercials, and Off-Broadway productions. After a year and a half of working and living in Brooklyn, she decided to return to her roots in North Carolina. She now enjoys having a big back yard (with lots of trees) for her puppy to play in. Working locally, Elisabeth keeps busy between teaching and her other adventures!
RITA MILES | Charlotte Seen
On the behalf of Charlotte Seen we attended the Acting out Studio Fashion Show and found it to be very professional and organized. At Charlotte Seen we are always looking for new models, singers and performers to be involved in Charlotte Fashion Week and when we saw the Acting Out Studio Fashion Show we scouting and found talent to be involved in our shows.. We welcome Acting Out Studio students to our shows and delightfully encourage them to live their dream.
Carolina Talent attended the first fashion show conducted by Acting Out Studio. The show was a great way for Carolina Talent to see new up and coming models that have been working with Acting Out Studio. The models ranged from young kids to teens to young adults. The models that walked in this show all showed great potential for the industry. It was clear that all the models in the show had been trained to do the show. All the models in the show represented themselves and Acting Out Studio well.

Just wanted to let you know that Bridgette informed me on the proper way to clean her face last night while she was taking her bath. As she included, "that's what my teacher said." Much credit to you for working with those from all age groups. I wasn't quite sure what to expect with Bridgette being in the modeling class, but she seems to be soaking in the information that you review. Thanks again!
